BREATHABLE BACK SHEET
Micro porous (breathable) laminates are composed of breathable films and substrates like Spun bonded nonwovens. These laminates are formed via porous hot melt lamination technique, where the breathability of both substrate is not sacrificed. Same as micro porous films, these composite structures enable water vapor molecules and air to pass through, yet it restricts liquid flow. As an additional value breathable back sheets composites have cloth like touch.
Micro porous laminates are broadly used in hygiene industry as the back sheet layer of premium baby diaper. The main benefits are;
- Breathability : The breathability of the film enables to comport the baby via eliminating unwanted secretions of liquid vapor.
- Cloth like touch and feeling
- Soft touch for baby skin
