Overview
A three-layer pad: a spunbond, drylaid or chemical-bond nonwoven with a hydrophilic, high-absorbency layer, laminated to a micro-embossed barrier film by hot melt. Its outer surface keeps pilling very low, and the pad can be walked on. Anti-skid surfaces are available in 1 to 1.3 m formats for operational safety.
After fluid-intensive surgeries, it makes room cleaning faster and easier than saline-based cleaning, which takes longer and can cause complications. Fabrics are manufactured to EN 13795 at values at least twice the minimum limit.
