Overview
Covers create an ideal growing environment for vegetables, fruit and flowers, protecting crops from wind and cold and enabling several harvests a year. With co-extrusion technology and appropriate recipes, covers can offer resistance to sun, light and temperature control, no moisture drip, anti-fog, and resistance to sulfur and chlorine chemicals for up to 60 months. Sun-resistance period, thickness and additives are set to the crop and area.
Felix produces covers rated for 3, 9, 12, 24, 36 and 60 months of sun exposure. Functions are added as additives during manufacture.

Optional additives
- Thermal
- Slows night-time cooling and protects against sudden temperature drops, giving +1 °C to +5 °C and fuel savings. EVA improves thermal (IR) effect.
- Cooling
- Reflects and breaks up sunlight to keep greenhouses cooler in strong sun and hot weather.
- Light diffuser
- Scatters light so plants do not shade each other and are not burned.
- Chemical resistance
- Protects against sulfur and chlorine from agricultural chemicals that attack UV stabilisers.
- Anti-virus
- A special optical structure blocks whitefly vision, helping limit virus spread and drug use.
- Anti-fog / anti-drip
- Stops large droplets forming on the inner surface; works on one side only, so follow the film directions.
