Overview
Under a roof covering, material choice decides whether condensation forms. Breathable, vapour-permeable structures are essential for a healthy, durable roof. Insulationtex is a functional waterproofing layer placed under the final coating: it blocks water from outside while a high-performance diffusion membrane lets vapour out.
The Bodygard Roofing Underlayment 130 is a lightweight, durable polypropylene nonwoven with resistance to moisture and UV radiation. It installs easily on shingle, tile, metal and slate roofs. It adds a barrier against water infiltration, reduces heat transfer between roof and attic, and its non-slip, tear-resistant surface gives installers traction, even when wet.
