Overview
Felix produces spunbond (SS), SMS, SMMS and SSMMS fabrics, mainly for the hygiene and medical sectors. For hygiene, the nonwovens are ultra-soft and permanently hydrophilic, for use in baby and adult diapers as topsheet, backsheet and leg cuffs with high hydrostatic-pressure resistance. They are also used in core wrap, dusting layer, and front and back flaps.
For the medical sector, the same constructions serve everything from disposable surgical sets to other hospital textiles, in full- and part-reinforced versions where more protection is needed.
The laboratory inside Felix performs strike-through time, wet-back, liquid-penetration resistance (water column) and other physical property tests.
