Overview
Felix produces 100 % polypropylene spunbonded fabrics, including spunlace and thermal-bond types, up to 1.6 m wide. Fibre intensity and fabric type can be optimised for special needs. Filament fineness (dpf) is one of the most important factors in performance; fabrics can be produced between 1 and 4 denier per filament.
Where very uniform entanglement is needed, multi-layer bonded nonwoven technology can be used. Felix achieves a balance between softness and MD / CD tensile strength.
Surface applications and additives provide specific features: hydrophilic, UV-resistant, fire-retardant, antistatic, antibacterial, luminous and coloured fabrics.
